The Bramham Bigfoot
The following account comes from one of our team members Ian Weston. This encounter happened in October 2008, in a rural part of Yorkshire called Bramham village. Ian was out walking his dogs in the area at around 8pm. He wandered down a long, dark, hedge-lined farm track. Suddenly the dogs' started growling whilst looking up the track. Ian assumed that it must be a fox, he had acted this way before. Soon he is barking frantically. Ian couldn't seem to calm him down and he is getting into a worst state by the second. Ian turned to look up the track and he couldn't believe his eyes. This massive 'creature' stepped out onto the field track. Ian estimates that it must be between 8 to 9 foot tall and 5 feet across the shoulders. It was so dark that Ian couldn't make out any any facial features but could see that this thing was covered in hair. It was just stood there, about 30 metres away. The dogs ran towards it, barking but stops about halfway, barked at it again before running back towards Ian, running past him and back up the farm track the way they had come. Ian described himself in a strange state of shock looking at this creature and, for some reason unexplainable to even himself, he asked the 'thing' if it was alright. Ian then calmly turned and walked away from the creature, following the dog. He listened to hear if it followed him but it didn't. Ian never saw the creature again.
