This sighting was personally investigated by British Bigfoot Research founders Adam and Paul Bird. It was about 11:15pm when eyewitness Rob Lee was driving home after fishing a nearby lake. It was as he was passing by Loscar Wood, not too far from Sherwood Forest and once part of the huge, vast Sherwood Forest estate, when he saw something he would never forget. Stood by a gate, standing at an estimated eight-foot-tall, was a huge hair-covered figure stood on two legs. Rob, shocked at the sight of such a strange creature, slammed on his breaks and reversed back to the spot quick. But the hominid had already vanished, and had obviously quickly retreated into the dark woods. 

   Adam and Paul from BBR met up with Rob on site, and both of them found him to be an extremely truthful witness who had nothing to gain from sharing his story. A height comparison was made and the creature was estimated to be around seven and a half to eight feet tall. This story is yet again one from the Sherwood Forest region, an area with many previous sightings and encounters. This shows that something is happening in this area and it is a prime hotspot for future investigations and expeditions.
