The Dorrington Humanoid
Reports of the 'Dorrington Humanoid' are vague at best but worth mentioning either way. The main sighting of this being comes from a man in 1970, though there are rumours of local postmen seeing strange things throughout the village.
The story goes that a man was walking through the village, near the railway bridge, when he sees a very tall humanoid figure which he described as "half man-half animal". Why he chose this description is unknown but it can be speculated he saw a hairy hominid. According to rumour the man reported this weird incident to the local police. A British Bigfoot is a possible explanation, though we are reluctant to class this as such because local legend speaks of this humanoid being a kind of spiritual being, named the 'Shag Foal'. Apart from these teasing little tidbits, nothing else is known about the Dorrington Humanoid.
